General Description
Time Pilot, released by Centuri in 1982 is a scrolling shooter game. Game play is simple enough: the player controls a jet fighter that must shoot travel through time shooting down various enemy ships and a final “boss” type ship. In all there are five levels of time ranging from 1910 (complete with biplanes and blimps) to 2001 (with UFOs). Although the game is a scrolling shooter, the player’s ship actually never moves from the center of the screen during the game. The background is constantly moving create the illusion the player is actually scrolling across the screen.
